On Behalf of our client Work supply is searching for Freelance Java Backend Developer with AWS for Malmo
You will work in an agile way where the team works in sprints, deliver often to end users and have full responsibility for the application and backend service within the team. The team itself consists of a product owner, architect, project leader, designer, developers and testers. The team is responsible for both develop and deploy, monitor and maintain the existing services.
Collaborative and proactive team player. Adaptive to changes, customized methodologies and frameworks.
Job description:
- Design, develop and deploy backend services with a focus on high availability, low latency and scalability
- Use strategic thinking to define, review and ensure that the overall architectural designs are consistent, maintainable and cost effective.
- Understand requirements and propose solutions based on the technical options, scope and risk
- Maintain and monitor the services and work proactively to ensure quality of service.
Required skills:
- Excellent programming skills in Java
- Exellent experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, Elasticbeanstalk, Kinesis, Lambda, Cloudformation, Dynamo, RDS etc.)
- – Javascript, Node.JS, Phyton
Preferred skills:
- Experience in AWS Cloud APIs
- Scalable architecture (autoscaling, sharding, queuing)
- Experience in the following frameworks: Spring, Hystrix, Express, RxJava, Jira and GitHub
Start: As soon as possible
Duration: 6 month contract with possibility for extension
Working language: English
